چکیده
The exploration of deep-water submarine fan reservoirs has become a prominent research area for hydrocarbon discovery and recovery. However, the high operational costs render efficient this type reservoir crucial, pivotal foundation lies in studying architectures. A case study fans Albacora Leste oilfield Brazil is presented along with characterization underground architecture based on well-log seismic model fitting. sedimentary microfacies distribution systematically established each detailed stratigraphic framework well-seismic joint method various types data (e.g., geological, well-log, data). results are as follows: can be subdivided into tongue-shaped-lobe, muddy-channel, sandy-channel, contourite deposits. Owing to abundance quality constraints, target layer was characterized Level 4 architectural elements. AB120 Reservoir consisted three complex channels (I, II, III) two tongue-shaped lobes (I II). Complex I III were first last deposited, respectively, lobe deposited earlier than II. II supply respectively. Vertically, composed single formed at different stages, youngest which distributed over largest area. already been drilled currently under development. not yet developed. This great practical significance effective development submarine-fan considerable theoretical advancement sedimentology.

A total of 183 core and cutting samples from seven exploratory wells were selected to be analyzed by Rock-Eval pyrolysis. These cores have been drilled through the Lam and Meem Members of the Madbi Formation and contain the major source rocks of Yemen´s sedimentary basins. Contents of total organic carbon were measured and Rock-Eval pyrolysis was performed to evaluate the hydrocarbon potential ...
